LifeStone

LifeStone is a small, woman owned company situated at a small island off the west coast of Sweden. We provide new parents with the possibility to make an individual cast of the baby's hand/foot in Swedish crystal. LifeStone, with merely 10 employees, is the leading company of its kind in Sweden and Norway and the only company in the world that makes baby castings in Swedish crystal glass.

Our Process

Our business is run entirely by mail. There's no need to bring the baby anywhere and the involvement of our customers is minimal. They purchase a special imprint kit to make the baby's imprints in a soft and pliable, ready-made mold. Our imprint material contains only natural ingredients, free from any toxins. The kit can be ordered from our retail partners or from our online shop. No mess, no stress, just press the baby's hand and/or foot into the smooth substance. The imprints in the mold can be redone as many times as necessary to get it just right.

Our customers then mail the imprint kit/s together with an order form directly to us in a pre-paid postage envelope.

We ship the finished casting, which takes about 7 weeks to produce, directly to the customer by mail.
